Autism Carnival

Every year they have a carnival to honor the kids with autism, it is really a lot of fun and it helps these kids to feel so special. This year we had the opportunity of having Adam and Amys boys come with us, they were really good boys and i think they enjoyed it. They feed you lunch, give you snacks and the kids win tons and tons of prizes. The star wars characters, these guys are everywhere i swear but the kids love them..

Party Time!!

For the boys birthday we went to the Kearns Rec Center and went swimming. It was really a lot of fun, we had 10 boys total and i must admit they were all really good and respectful. Christian about to go off the platform, he is more daring than i am because i will not go off of these.

These are the platforms...

Clay going off the high dive, once again i dont dare to jump off of these either.

The boys with their birthday cake, Christian wanted a skateboard so we did that for the party, and Clay chose a double chocolate chip cake so i made that one for their actual birthday.

Christian and Clay are 10!!!

I cant believe it my twins are 10 years old. I remember the day we found out we were having twins, we saw they were in two separate sacks and for some reason automatically figured we would have a boy and a girl. We decided we wanted to name them Christian and Destiny, yes Clay im sorry to say we thought you were a girl .. Well at 18 weeks we found out it was 2 boys!! We were so excited and sat in that waiting room to see my doctor after the ultrasound trying to come up with another boy name, we though Cameron, Chad, none of them seemed right until Levi said Clay at first i just laughed and said we are not naming our kid after dirt but then i said it a could more times and said it was perfect!! As time went on i kept on working and just got nice and big, i measured double whatever i was so for example when i was 9 weeks i measure 18 weeks. Well at 29 weeks me and Levi were driving home and we got into a car accident a car ran a red light and hit us, i immediately went into labor and was really worried, it took us a lot of fertility and time to get pregnant with the boys. I stayed at the hospital over night and than was released. I went home and kept working well a week later i went into labor, i remember waking Levi up and we got into our mustang and headed to the U oF U hospital, well the freeway was closed and my contractions were 2 minutes apart, I remember Levi saying he wish he was a cop so we could just go on the freeway anyway. They stopped the labor and kept me really drugged, as a matter of fact at one point they overdosed me on the medicine and I even got to the point i couldnt have visitors because it was too much stress on me. They were able to stop the labor for 1 week at which point they took me off the medication, told me it was pretty much just in my head that i was contracting and had me on bed rest. I remember it was a wednesday morning and the nurse came in to check on me, i told her i was contracting she put the monitors on me and said i wasnt but decided to check to see if i was dilated sure enough i was at 5, which at that point they can no longer stop the labor. I called levi told him it was time and he headed up to the hospital. They were born at 6:36 pm and 6:38 pm. I pushed for over an hour and could not get them out so theydecided they would be doing an emergency c-section, to make a long story short i felt the entire procedure and it was not fun. But i had two little amazing boys. I didnt get to see them until the next morning. But levi got pictures of them and brought them to me, he also stayed at the hospital with me the entire time. It was an amazing day. They are truely two little miracles and i am so glad they are mine.

Christian is now an amazing pitcher for his baseball team, he also does great in school and has so many friends. He is a very good caretaker also he loves to help with little kids and is a great help with Chase and Stacia.

Clay is my amazing catcher and he is also becoming an amazing pitcher, he is an incredible student and we have been told on many occasions the top of his class. He is so sensitive and always concerned and loving when it comes to his mom and dad.

Happy 10th Birthday Christian and Clay!! You are both my heros and i will love and cherish you forever!!
