A Week Of Fun even in the Scorching HEat...

So we had a fun filled week. We began the week with a hike up Bell Canyon (pictures below) It is about 3 miles round trip and it is actually really tiring, it is straight up hill on the way up but the way down is fast and easy. We spent a lot of days this week, preparing for school since we only have 2 weeks of summer left. I did have the chance to go to the Lady Antebellum/Tim McGraw concert with my friends and it was so much fun. it was stinking hot but so worth it. Saturday night we went to the Guns vs. Hoses baseball game, despite the rain which stopped after only about 10 minutes it was a lot of fun. The Hoses kicked our trash 23-5.. so sad.. This week is Kearns Hometown week so a lot of fun activities to go to.. Wed. night is Kearns Days at the oval, it is free to attend and will have booths, firetrucks, police vehicles etc. I think it starts at 6. Saturday morning is the Hometown days parade, me and the kids will be there since this is the only parade that isnt overly crowded so the kids can enjoy it and i dont have to deal with crowds. It is also fire, water and ice at the oval however we will not be attending i dont do crowds. But Levi will be working A LOT!! So if you are looking for cheap/free fun that is close to home this is it.

SugarHouse Park

So back in June we went to my dads work picnic at Sugarhouse park, the kids loved playing in the stream and we only were able to stay for about a half hour so i promised them I would bring them back another time. We decided to go back yesterday. I had my brothers boys and we had a great time. The kids were sooooo good, we stayed at the park for 4 hrs. On our way we went to free lunch at the park, which i love in the summer time. Then we went to Sugarhouse. The kids built dams and i tried to help.. i must recommend going here, it was so relaxing for me as well.

She is always not wearing any pants, she forgot her swimsuit and after throwing a temper tantrum busting my sunglasses in half and smacking me in the head.. she realized she could take off her skirt and it would be like she was in swim bottoms.

YUBA LAKE!!

We decided that we need to take some more day trips with our waverunner. We are going to try to go somewhere at least every couple weeks, if you would like to be included in one of our day trips let me know.. We would love to have anyone join us.. as long as your fun.
Yuba Lake is our favorite place to go, it is only 1 1/2 hr away and so warm the water today was 79 degrees it felt warmer than the Kearns Rec pool. We played on the waverunner, jumped on the water tramp, and me and Christian took a good swim out to the bouie. It was a day well spent with Sev, Chelsea and kids. We are all now exhausted and FRIED!! or i am anyway.

Doesnt this picture make you laugh. she is so stinking cute.. she makes me laugh nonstop i am so glad i have all my kids. But i must say Stacia is my very best friend.

MISC FAMILY FUN!!

We have already had such a fun and busy spring/summer. The boys both made all Stars and made it to the championship game to go to state and ended up losing. They are going to play fall ball and continue to get even better. Christian is the pitcher and Clay is the catcher it is so much fun to watch them together, they are both AMAZING athletes.



Me and Christian decided to go on a mother/son date we went to Jordan Landing to eat cold stone and then walked around to look at all the crazy people that are over there on a Friday night. After we went to Sports chalet and goofed off and ended the night at Chick Fil A getting a free spicy sandwich. It was nice to be able to spend some one on one time together.

Chase turned 7 in June, he is such a fun kid. We went to Classic Skating and did unlimited Lazer tag, roller skating, Blast zone, jumpers (bouncers) ate pizza and literally stayed all night long.

He got to invite two friends and he chose his cousin Zach and Trevor. It was a blast. I did all the activites with the kids also.

Christian in Spring Ball .. Team Yankees, he pitches 48 mph for those of you who dont know this is FAST!! especially for a 9 year old kid.

Clay.. he is hands down the best catcher in the entire league.. He also ended the season with over an .800 batting average.

Yes that is me in a graduation cap. I finally graduated from college. I went back to school in the winter of 2009 and graduated in May 2010. I only had 4 classes to take to get my associates of science, so i did it!! I was so excited and proud of myself for accomplishing this. I am just mad that i didnt do this 14 years ago..

4th of July..

4th of July.
Levi had to work on the 3rd a million parades, so we had a BBQ on the 4th we had The Grays, The bascoms, and The Cordovas over for dinner. We had a fun time playing baseball, basketball, eating too much food and of course fireworks. It was a good time.

Girls Camp

Bear Lake:

I had the opportunity to go to Girls Camp with my ward this last week, we went to Bear Lake and it was SOOOO much fun. I seriously laughed so much and just relaxed. I love all the girls in the ward and enjoyed getting closer to a few of them. We ate amazingly well and I think i gained 10 lbs just at girls camp. Levi and the boy came up for one night and brought the waverunner and tube for some water fun. Looking at all these pictures i just laugh, i just added my favorite ones.. I cant wait until next year when we get to go again.




Campfire time.. we made banana boats the first night, for those of you who dont know what they are, i think you either love them or hate them.. I was on the hate them list.. It is a banana, chocolate and marshmellows all melted in the fire.

Minnetonka Cave, it was a really awesome cave tour that is in Idaho. After we went ot the cave we went to Paris, Idaho to the oldest tabernacle built for a tour and for lunch.
